Method
 

Prepare the Strawberry Syrup
  1. In a small saucepan, combine sliced fresh strawberries, granulated sugar, and 2 cups of water. Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until softened.
Strain the Syrup
  1. Remove from heat and strain through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or measuring cup, pressing down to extract maximum syrup. Allow to cool.
Brew the Tea
  1. In a separate saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add black tea bags, steeping for 5 minutes. Discard bags.
Sweeten the Tea
  1. While warm, stir in sugar to taste until fully dissolved for perfect sweetness.
Combine Ingredients
  1. In a large pitcher, mix the cooled strawberry syrup, brewed tea, 4 cups of cold water, and lemon juice. Stir until well combined.
