  • 1 head Cabbage kale can be used as a substitute
  • 1 lb Ground Beef lean (90/10) recommended
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes fresh or canned, tomato puree for thicker consistency
  • 1 medium Onion can use shallots for a milder taste
  • 3 cloves Garlic fresh preferred, garlic powder as a substitute
  • 1 tsp Bouillon Powder can use homemade broth
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika regular paprika can be used
  • to taste Salt add at the end to prevent over-salting

Cooking Steps
  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  2. Sauté onions in the skillet for 3-4 minutes, then add garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, bouillon powder, spices, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Incorporate chopped cabbage and cook for 10-15 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
