- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat, add chicken, and season with salt and pepper. Cook about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in tomato sauce and cream, stirring well, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine the drained pasta with the chicken and sauce in the skillet, tossing everything together. Add reserved pasta water as needed to adjust sauce consistency.
- Sprinkle fresh mozzarella over the top and transfer to the oven or baking dish. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
- Remove from oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, then garnish with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese before serving.
