  • 1 tbsp Miso Paste Red or brown miso is preferred.
  • 3 tbsp Butter Divided; use vegan butter for dairy-free.
For the Crunchy Topping
  • ¼ cup Panko Breadcrumbs Regular breadcrumbs can be substituted.
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can be used as an alternative.
For Garnish
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Parsley Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cut the sweetheart cabbage into four wedges, keeping the core intact.
  3. Mix 2 tbsp of softened butter with the miso paste and coat the cabbage wedges.
  4. Arrange the cabbage wedges on a baking sheet and roast for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a skillet, add panko and garlic powder, and toast until golden brown.
  6. Remove the cabbage from the oven, sprinkle with toasted breadcrumbs, and garnish with parsley.
