- Start by softening about 4 tablespoons of butter at room temperature. Add in 4 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese and a pinch of garlic powder to enhance the flavor. Mix until creamy and spreadable.
- Spread the butter mix generously on one side of each slice of bread. Layer one slice with cheese, turkey cold cuts, and more cheese. Top with the second bread slice butter-side up.
- Place a skillet over low heat for 2-3 minutes. Carefully place the assembled sandwich in and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and cheese begins to melt.
- Flip the sandwich and toast the other side for another 5-6 minutes on low heat until deep golden and melty inside.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, red grape juice vinegar, leftover garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and pepper; stir in shredded veggies.
