Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by bringing 4 cups of filtered water to a rolling boil in a pot. Once boiling, add 2 black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
- While your tea cools, juice 2 lemons and prepare 1 cup of fresh pineapple juice. Strain the juices through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp.
- Pour the cooled tea into a large pitcher and add 2 to 3 tablespoons of honey or sugar. Stir until fully dissolved.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and pineapple juice to the pitcher with the sweetened tea. Stir well for about 30 seconds.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over it, garnishing with lemon slices and pineapple chunks if desired.
