Procedure
- Combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Gradually mix in water until smooth. Cover and let rest for 1 hour.
- Thread mozzarella sticks and hot dogs onto skewers, alternating between them.
- Chop frozen French fries and prepare a shallow dish of panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip skewers in batter, then roll in French fries and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil to 375°F and fry corn dogs for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain and sprinkle with sugar.
