Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Fresh ground recommended.
For the Buns
  • 12 pieces Mini Brioche Buns Opt for gluten-free mini buns for a gluten-free version.
For the Cheese
  • 6 slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese May substitute with pepper jack or dairy-free cheese.
For the Toppings
  • 2 cups Mixed Lettuce Leaves Arugula or spinach makes a delightful alternative.
  • 1 cup Quick-Pickled Cucumber Can use thinly sliced red onions or jalapeños.
For the Garlic Aioli
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Vegan mayo works for a dairy-free alternative.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced, or use roasted garlic for a milder flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Can be replaced with whole grain mustard.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Lime juice can also be used.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Can be substituted with vegetable or canola oil.

Method
 

Patties Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently and form into 12 equal patties.
  2. Flatten patties to ½-inch thick and create a slight dimple in the center for even cooking.
Aioli Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper until smooth.
  2. Cover and refrigerate to allow flavors to meld.
Buns Toasting
  1. Slice the mini brioche buns and toast cut-side down in a preheated skillet for about 30 seconds until golden.
Patties Cooking
  1. Add oil to the skillet and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned and at an internal temperature of 160°F.
Assembly
  1. Spread garlic aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Layer with lettuce, patty, cheese, and pickled cucumber, then top with the other half of the bun.
Serving
  1. Arrange sliders on a platter and serve warm.
