- Start by peeling, pitting, and chopping a ripe mango into small pieces. If using frozen mango, measure out one cup. Blend the mango pieces with ½ cup of almond milk in a high-speed blender until smooth and creamy (1-2 minutes).
- In a separate small bowl, measure out 2-3 tablespoons of matcha powder. Gradually add 2-3 tablespoons of warmed water and whisk vigorously for about 30 seconds until completely dissolved.
- Grab a tall glass and pour the mango puree at the bottom. Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes. Slowly pour the remaining almond milk over the ice, then carefully layer the whisked matcha on top.
- Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the drink and sprinkle a pinch of sea salt to enhance the flavors. Stir gently with a straw or spoon.
