  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Trim excess fat from the sirloin tip roast and brush the surface with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle Montreal steak spice evenly over all sides of the roast.
  4. Carefully place the seasoned roast in the air fryer basket and sear for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce air fryer temperature to 360°F (182°C) and roast for about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
  6. Check internal temperature for medium rare at 135°F (57°C), continue cooking in increments if needed.
  7. Remove the roast from the air fryer, cover with foil, and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
