Preparation Steps
- Boil 4 cups of water in a large pot over medium heat.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add 1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers.
- Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the tea using a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl or pitcher.
- While warm, add sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Add fresh lime juice and stir to combine.
- Stir in 2 cups of cold water to dilute.
- Blend diced ripe mango until smooth, then stir into the tea.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
- Serve over ice in tall glasses.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
