Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook rice according to package instructions while keeping warm. Steam broccoli or green beans until vibrant and tender, about 5–7 minutes.
  2. In a large sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add cubed chicken to the pan and sauté for approximately 10 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine orange juice, coconut aminos, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, grated ginger, and orange zest. Whisk until fully incorporated.
  5. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside. Keep the heat on.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and bring it to a rolling boil. Simmer for 15-20 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the pan, gently stirring to coat each piece with the sauce. Allow to absorb flavors for 2 minutes on low heat.
  8. Serve over cooked rice with steamed vegetables on the side.
