Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Prepare the spinach-basil pesto by blending spinach, basil, garlic, olive oil, and Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Once the dough has risen, punch it down, roll it out, and spread pesto over it. Cut into strips and twist into shamrock shapes.
