Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Thinly slice the yellow onions to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread shredded Parmesan cheese across it.
- Arrange the sliced onions over the Parmesan cheese in a single layer.
- Drizzle olive oil over the tops of the onions and sprinkle salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven, cool slightly, and break into individual chips.
