Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Thinly slice the yellow onions to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread shredded Parmesan cheese across it.
  4. Arrange the sliced onions over the Parmesan cheese in a single layer.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the tops of the onions and sprinkle salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
  6. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven, cool slightly, and break into individual chips.
