  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring salted water to a boil, add pasta, and cook according to package instructions for 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté Onions and Garlic: Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté onion until translucent, add garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, cooking for 2 minutes.
  3. Blend the Sauce Ingredients: In a blender, combine sautéed onion and garlic with white beans and lemon juice, adding reserved pasta water for a smoother texture. Blend until creamy.
  4. Adjust the Sauce Consistency: Add remaining pasta water to blend again until desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Warm the Sauce: Pour sauce back into the skillet over low heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
