Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the imitation crab meat, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, and chopped green onions. Add soy sauce and sugar, then blend until creamy.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  4. Spread the crab filling over the puff pastry, leaving a ¼ inch border.
  5. Roll the puff pastry tightly from one long edge to form a log shape and seal the ends.
  6. Wrap the log in plastic wrap and chill it in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes.
  7. Slice the log into ½ inch thick pinwheels.
  8. Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the whisked egg and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
