  1. Gather your ingredients on the kitchen counter, including the dumplings, broth, ginger, garlic, green onions, and spinach or bok choy.
  2. In a large pot, heat a splash of cooking oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.
