Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by removing the crusts from the thick white bread and cutting each slice into nine equal cubes.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to create a sweet coating.
  4. Place a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of butter to melt.
  5. Dip half of the bread cubes into the custard and place them in the hot skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the cooked bites to the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat them fully.
