Pancake Preparation
- Whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, ground cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
- Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of oil or a pat of butter.
