Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Warm the milk, butter, and sugar together until the butter melts.
  2. Combine flour, yeast, and salt in a stand mixer. Add warm milk mixture and mashed bananas.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth and slightly tacky.
  4. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered for 1 to 1.5 hours.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle approximately 18x12 inches.
  6. Spread softened butter, sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and sliced bananas on dough.
  7. Roll the dough into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Place rolls in a greased dish and let rise for 45-75 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F, pour heavy cream over rolls, and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  10. Prepare frosting by mixing cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla, then frost warm rolls.
