Orange Chicken Recipe

– 1 tablespoon water
– 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions:

1. Start by preparing the chicken. In a large bowl, combine the cornstarch, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Add the chicken pieces to the dry mixture and coat well.

2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces in batches. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3. In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, orange zest, and red pepper flakes. Pour the mixture into the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

4. In another small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and water. Add the mixture to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.

5. Add the chicken back to the skillet and toss with the sauce until evenly coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the chicken is heated through.

6. Serve the orange chicken over rice and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
